Our History
A Classic, Reimagined
Completed in 1929, The Ivy Tower has been an architectural landmark along the skyline of Minneapolis since inception. Though its grand ambitions were paused by the Great Depression, its aesthetic and historic legacy lives on within Hotel Ivy. In 2007 Hotel Ivy opened as the city’s original luxury hotel, incorporating the iconic Ivy Tower into its restaurants, spa, event spaces, and spacious suites, alongside a tower of finely appointed luxury hotel rooms. In 2024, Hotel Ivy transformed again, and now provides a luxury getaway in Minneapolis via renovated guest rooms, suites, restaurants and bars, event spaces, and public spaces.

Yes, we love welcoming your four-legged friends. Guests are welcome to bring up to two pets per room, each with a maximum weight of 40 pounds. A non-refundable fee of $100 per stay applies.
